Aaron Taylor-Johnson (born June 13, 1990) is an English actor. He is known for his title character in Kick-Ass in 2010 and as well as the Marvel Cinematic Universe character in Avengers: Age of Ultron in 2015.

Johnson began performing when he was a child and appeared in many films including Shanghai Knights which was released in 2003. He had his breakthrough performance in Nowhere Boy which was directed in 2009 by Sam Taylor-Johnson. He followed with roles in the crime thriller. He also worked in Godzilla (2014).

In 2016, Taylor-Johnson won the Golden Globe Award for his best performance in the thriller film Nocturnal Animals. He was also nominated for the BAFTA Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role. He appeared in the action films Tenet in 2020, and Bullet Train in 2022.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson was born on June 13, 1990, in High Wycombe. Mr. Robert was the father of Johnson, who was a civil engineer. His mother’s name was Sarah. Gemma was the sister of Aaron Johnson.

He studied at Holmer Green Senior School. He also attended the Jackie Palmer Stage School studying drama, tap, jazz, acrobatics, and singing.  At the age of 15, he left the school.

In 2020, Taylor-Johnson played a role in the film Tenet. He also played an action thriller, in 2022. Johnson will play another Marvel character in Kraven The Hunter, released in 2024. He will also reunite with Leitch in the film The Fall Guy and star in the horror film Nosferatu.
